Tradewinds Building Company, Inc. is owned and operated by Ted and Steve Martinez, of Eagle, Idaho. Ted has been involved in the building industry since 1975 and welcomes Steve’s new innovative and creative edge to the business. Steve is a graduate of Boise State University in business and marketing. Together they share the love of this community and the desire to help families to obtain affordable housing.

Ted has served as president of the Building Contractors Association of Southwestern Idaho. He was awarded Builder of the Year, Spike of the Year, and is a life director of that association. He also served as president of the Idaho Building Contractors Association and received the Idaho State Builder of the Year Award in 1998.

Steve is also a past President of the Building Contractors Association of Southwestern Idaho. He has received various awards within that association. He is certified as an Eagle Scout of the Boy Scouts of America and is actively involved in various community organizations.

Tradewinds Building Company has been involved in numerous Parade of Homes over the years. They have received many awards for their interior and exterior design as well as the People’s Choice Award.

Their primary focus has been in building high end custom homes. They have also developed several subdivisions throughout the valley along with building many commercial projects.
